Dr Toni Cockburn and Linda Plumstead will be joining Lee to discuss the topic of purchasing unweaned chicks for DIY Handraising. They will discuss the myths, risks and ethics of this practise, and will bring together their many years of combined experience in the various areas of avian care, health, welfare, breeding and behaviour to cover the topic in depth!
Dr Toni graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Biology and Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in 2003 and in 2012 successfully completed exams and was granted membership to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Avian Health.
