Flighted or Clipped? - LIVE ONLINE EVENT  We are excited to announce our next LIVE event!  Brisbane Consultant and Ops Manager, Lee, will be joined by Rebecca Melanson from Around the Flock - Companion Animal Training to discuss the topic of whether to keep parrots fully flighted or to clip their wings. They will dive deep into this topic and discuss the risks, benefits and welfare implications. Lee and Rebecca will also be answering questions on the topic.  

Rebecca is a Registered Veterinary Technician and a Certified Training Partner via the Karen Pryor Academy, she is active in the veterinarian community, helping all pet parents raise their pets. Rebecca has completed training in Puppy Start Right and Better Veterinary Visits. She is also Fear-Free Certified to an Elite Status, a graduate of the Living and Learning with Animals program of Dr. Susan Friedman and Michael Shikashio’s Aggressive Dog Mastercourse. Rebecca is also a Member of Avian Behavior International and is familiar with birds of all kinds!
