To register to attend our PTA 2024 Workshops please choose your location and the number of workshops you wish to attend. Once we receive your payment you will be added to our workshop list and you will receive an email confirming your registration. If you indicate you would like to apply to bring your bird we will send you an email with further details.
Payment is required upfront at the time of registration to secure your spot - Paypal Pay in 4 is available for those needing a payment plan option (please note: we are not responsible for accepting or declining Pay in 4 applications). If you are not eligible for Pay in 4 but require a payment plan please email us on contact@parrotlife.com.au to discuss alternatives.
Included in the price:
- Workshop attendance (7 hours of active workshop time per workshop)
- Morning / Afternoon tea and refreshments (tea/coffee/juice/soda) (BYO Lunch)
- Digital copies of workshop presentations
- Attendee gift bag including clicker, pen, notebook, samples + more
- 10% off all products in our Shop valid for 6 months
- $20 off private consultations booked within 12 months of PTA101 (available for one session only).
Parrot Training Academy 2024
Payment for the workshop is due at time of registration.
If you cannot attend the workshop you need to notify us as soon as possible. The following refunds will apply:- Greater than 30 days notice - 100% minus $35 administration fee.
- With 30 days notice - 75% refund
- With 14 or more days notice - 50% refund
- With 13 or less days notice - No refund.
If we have a waiting list and your spot can be filled then a larger refund may be available minus an administration fee.
Early bird pricing ONLY applies to bookings made prior to June 30th 2023. If you purchased PTA101 and wish to upgrade your ticket to include PTA201 and/or 301 after June 30th you will be charged full price for the additional workshops.Bring your own bird is subject to approval. Due to the nature of the workshops only some birds will be accepted based on behavioural assessment and contingent on health checks.
All bird's attending must have a full health clearance from their vet including psittacosis and psittacine beak and feather testing. These records must be provided to Parrot Life before the event. Records including test results need to be forwarded to contact@parrotlife.com.au
COVID-19 Policies:
Due to the ongoing nature of the COVID-19 outbreak Parrot Life Behaviour and Training has in place policies to help protect our staff, clients and the community. Parrot Life Behaviour and Training has a detailed COVID Safe plan for our Parrot Training Academy workshop series, this can be provided at your request and will be available at each workshop.
If you are over the age of 60, are immunocompromised or have other indicated co-morbidities (such as heart disease, diabetes, hypertension) please notify us.
We ask that if you are ill, have been in contact with an infected person, are in an at-home self-isolation period and/or have been in a relevant high-risk country or area within the fortnight leading up to the workshop, that you notify us via phone or email to discuss your options.
Social distancing and sanitation methods will be in place at all of our Parrot Training Academy venues throughout the series. Signs and directives will be posted to assist our clients with ensuring they are meeting our guidelines.
Depending on health directives and other factors, masks may be required during some or all of the workshops. If you cannot wear a mask and have a medical exemption you will need to provide this in advance via email to contact@parrotlife.com.au
By purchasing a ticket in our Parrot Training Academy workshops you are agreeing to our terms and conditions and to follow all instructions from our Staff when at our venues. Failure to do so may result in our Staff asking you to leave.
